Workplace Ethics

Development Halls

  • Development Halls are quiet areas. Across the halls, cross-talks are not allowed
  • Meeting pods or conference rooms should be used for discussions or collaborative work
  • Employees are not allowed to move their chairs around
  • Personal calls are not to be taken in development halls

Lunch Area

  • Employees are strictly required to follow lunch timings from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Friday)
  • Everyone is required to eat their food in the lunch area and no one is allowed to take their food to their workstation
  • Employees will also follow Self-service for tea, coffee, and beverages. Office boys will not provide table service to anyone
  • Employees are required to place their used dishes back in the designated area in the kitchen

Table Tennis

  • Timings for table tennis are from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. 5:30 PM till 6:00 PM is for females
  • Employees shouldn’t crowd the playing area in wait for their turn. If some employees are already playing, get back to your work and check again later for your turn
  • Employees can play up to 2 games at a time

Meeting Rooms

  • If a meeting room is occupied, use any other meeting room
  • Use meeting pods if collaborative work is to be done involving more than 1 person

Prayer Area

  • Prayer area is designated on the 4th Floor
  • Perform ablution only in designated areas made for it
  • Washrooms of Dev halls are not to be used for ablution

Dress Code

Employees should follow Smart casual dressing during office hours & are required to report to work in clean clothing & footwear. Employees should maintain good grooming & personal hygiene.

Dos:

  • For Males: T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Dress Shirts, Dress Pants, Jeans & Shalwar Kameez. In Shoes Sneaker, loafers, and any other close shoes with or without laces. Shalwar kameez is only allowed on Fridays
  • For Females: Shalwar Kameez, T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Dress Shirts, Dress Pants & Jeans. In Shoes formal Heels, Sneakers, Loafers and any other close shoes with or without laces

Don’ts:

  • No Chappals, Flip-flops or Open Sandals
  • For Males: Tank tops, Shorts, Cargo jeans, Ripped jeans, Casual trousers and Sleeping suits are not allowed
  • For Females: Short and Seamless dresses, Tank tops, Shorts, Cargo jeans, Ripped jeans, Casual trousers and Sleeping suits are not allowed. Flip-flop during office hours and on premises are not allowed

Smoke-Free Workplace

For the health & well being of all the employees, our Company maintains a smoke‐free environment in all of our facilities. Smoking is permitted only outside of Company facilities or in a space specifically designated for smoking, & as required by state & federal law. Visitors, clients & vendors are asked to comply with our smoke‐free policy. Employees should use courtesy & discretion with regard to reminding our guests of our smoke‐free commitment. This policy also includes the use of non-smoke tobacco products & using e-cigarettes/vaping products of all sorts.

Personal Items in the Workplace

Many employees keep personal items at the office for their convenience & enjoyment. These items often have a wide range of personal & financial value. Please note that employees are solely responsible for the security of their personal items in the office. As a result, we encourage you to take home your personal items at the end of each day. 

Violence in the Workplace  

It is the intent of our Company to provide a safe workplace for employees & to provide a comfortable & secure atmosphere for clients & others with whom we do business. Our Company has zero tolerance for violent acts or threats of violence.  

Our Company expects all employees to conduct themselves in a non‐threatening, non‐abusive manner at all times during their stay in the office building/ official event (in or out door). No direct, conditional, or veiled threat of harm to any employee or Company property will be considered acceptable behavior. Acts of violence or intimidation of others will not be tolerated. Any employee who commits or threatens to commit a violent act against any person or a group while on Company premises will be subject to immediate discharge. If an employee, while engaged in Company business off the premises, commits or threatens to commit a violent act, that employee will be subject to immediate discharge. 

Employees within our Company share the responsibility in identification & alleviation of threatening or violent behaviors. Any employee who is subject to or threatened with violence, or who is aware of another individual who has been subjected to or threatened with violence, should immediately report this information to his/her manager or a member of senior management. Employees must assume that any threat is serious. If you as an individual feel threatened & need protection, do not hesitate to report the situation to a manager. Any threat reported to a manager should be brought to the attention of management & Human Resources. Human Resources will carefully investigate all reports, & employee confidentiality will be maintained to the fullest extent possible. 

Weapons

To make the workplace secure for employees, clients, visitors & others, the Company expressly forbids the possession of any weapon on Company property, any Company organized event, trip or activities conducted indoor or outdoors. Our Company has “zero tolerance” for possession of any type of weapon, firearm, explosive, or ammunition. Company property includes, but is not limited to, all Company facilities, parking lots, vehicles, & equipment, whether leased or owned by our Company or its client. In addition, firearms in employee‐owned vehicles parked on Company property are strictly forbidden unless expressly protected by law. 

The possession of firearms on Company property may be cause for disciplinary action including immediate termination of employment. In enforcing this guideline, our Company reserves the right to inspect any employee & their personal effects, including personal vehicles, while on Company premises. Any employee who refuses to allow inspection will be subject to the same disciplinary action as being found in possession of firearms. Employees within our Company share the responsibility of identifying violators of this guideline. An employee who witnesses or suspects another individual of violating this guideline should immediately report this information to their manager & Human Resources.

Admin Personnel

The Company's Administration will ensure these rules. All employees are to cooperate with the concerned administrative staff.
