Kwanso is a custom software development company. It was founded in April 2014 in Pakistan. Kwanso's United States subsidiary was formed in January 2015. We are a software service providing company. No products. No solutions. No specific industry vertical. We build custom software using modern tech.
What makes us special? We are experts in some modern open source technology stacks for web and mobile. We want to stay highly focused on cool tech.
Who do we work for? We work for Startups, Small & Medium companies and Brands. We have worked for well-funded startups from the Silicon Valley. We have delivered for brands like Whirlpool, Sears, UFC, Kimberly Clark, PBS Kids and Bushnell. Our 100% clients are from United States.
Kwanso is self-funded. We haven't brought in outside financing. Since its earliest days, it has been incredibly important in providing the team freedom to shape the company and its business practices.
Umair Siddique. A serial entrepreneur with more than 16 years of experience of building 4 million plus active user products, million dollar revenue companies, doing successful exits and running startups funded by Y-combinator. Umair is extremely passionate about technology and is the CTO of Kwanso.
Khurram Zaman. Consultant to Fortune 100 companies and Startups. More than 16 years of experience in industry. The current CEO of Kwanso. Primary Kwanso presence in US.
Umair and Khurram are high school friends. Together, they have done crazy shit like launching a competitor of Google Hangout one week after its launch for Facebook. It got featured in Business Insider and Yahoo Finance. It was shutdown when Google made legal filings on using the word "hangout".
